You can only cancel a payment if the recipient hasn't yet enrolled with Zelle®. To cancel a payment, go to your activity page within the Zelle® app, choose the payment you want to cancel, and then select "Cancel This Payment."

If your recipient has already enrolled with Zelle®, the money is sent directly to your recipient's bank account and cannot be canceled.

Additional tips:

• Only send money to people you know and trust.

• If you're not sure if the recipient is enrolled with Zelle®, you can ask them or search for them in the Zelle® app.

• If you need to cancel a payment, do so as soon as possible. If the recipient has already accepted the payment, you will not be able to cancel it.
