We are looking for a Junior Risk Associate to join our KYC team in Miami, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing department at a great company. This position is not open for remote work.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review customer applications for accuracy and prevent suspicious behavior from entering our ecosystem
  • Proactively identify fraud and anti-money laundering by utilizing the internal security monitoring system to effectively analyze transaction activity.
  • Manage and escalate alerts when required.
  • Provide quality service and subject matter expertise to all internal departments, third party partners and sales organization
  • Investigate cases as needed.
  • Provide analysis and reporting. 
  • Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently.

Required qualifications

  • Ability to work in teams effectively and create strong relationships.
  • You have a passion for process improvement and continuous improvement
  • You thrive in a dynamic, self-starter, and high-pace startup environment
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • You love working with customers, understanding their needs, and improving products to better meet their needs
