MAJORITY is looking for a Business Unit Manager - Remittance and Cross border services

We are looking for a Business unit manager to head up our Cross border services (Remittance, Mobile top-up and Calling). As a Business unit manager your responsibilities start with the P&L and you are responsible for developing and setting the agenda and roadmap for your respective area in order to achieve set business goals. You are a commercially oriented and results driven person that loves to win. You are the key counterpart to our commercial organization in the US and the Product team in Sweden that are developing our services.

On a daily basis you will be working with and responsible for:

  • Ultimately responsible for business outcomes (P&L)
  • Defining business  strategy under the umbrella of the overall company strategy, together with stakeholders
  • Responsible for curating and setting the overall roadmap for the business  - the Business roadmap
  • Steers Product Management to develop the right solution
  • Perform competitive analysis including analyzing data, market trends, and identifying market opportunities.
  • Responsible for enabling and performing analytics to track results and usage as well as ensure that data driven decisions are taken
  • Represent the market to the product team - the customer needs, the positioning, the messaging, and a winning go‐to‐market plan. You are deeply engaged with the sales channel and know their capabilities, limitations, and current competitive issues.
  • Coordinates with other departments and organizations, main counterpart to the commercial organization in the US.
  • Understand and help to ensure business objectives are understood and agreed to by key stakeholders and the organization


You will join Majority's Growth team, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer working alongside other Business Unit Managers covering other parts of our service.


  • University degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
  • Passionate about results, winning and driving an organization in the right direction
  • Strong business acumen, preferably proven from previous experience
  • Plus if you have worked in an industry providing “Cross border services” like Remittance and Mobile-top.
  • Preferably 4-5 years of relevant working experience
