How do I set or change my app passcode?

TO CREATE A PASSCODE

  1. You’ll be prompted to create a 4-digit passcode when you sign up for MAJORITY.

  2. Once you’ve created a passcode, enter it again to verify that it’s correct.

  3. That's it! Now whenever you are asked, enter that passcode to access your account.

TO CHANGE YOUR PASSCODE

  1. Open the MAJORITY app and tap on Account

at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  2. Then tap on "Settings"

  3. Tap on "Change passcode" under Security & Login.

  4. Enter your current 4-digit passcode.

  5. Then enter the new 4-digit passcode that you want.

  6. Enter your new passcode again to confirm it.

  7. That’s it! Next time you’re asked for a passcode, enter your new one to get access to your account.

FORGOT YOUR PASSCODE?

No problem. It’s easy to reset your passcode. Here’s how:

  1. When you are asked to enter your passcode when logging in, tap on "Forgot?" at the bottom left corner of the screen.

  2. You will be asked whether you want to reset your passcode. Tap on "Yes, reset passcode".

  3. For security purposes, a 4-digit confirmation code will be sent to the phone number registered to your MAJORITY account. Once you get the code, enter it in the app.

  4. Then a password reset link will be sent to the email connected to your MAJORITY account. Tap on "Open email" or check your email directly. Note: The link will expire after 30 minutes, and then you will need to repeat the steps above to get a new reset link.

  5. Open the email from MAJORITY and tap on Reset my passcode. This will take you back to the MAJORITY app where you will be asked to create a new 4-digit passcode.

  6. Create your new 4-digit passcode and then enter your new passcode again to confirm.

  7. After you reset your passcode, you can also choose to log in with Touch/Face ID or with your biometrics.

  8. Done! Your new passcode is set.

Note: If you do not receive the passcode reset link to your email, we might have a different email address on file for your account. Contact us if you do not receive a link in your email.
